A little girl came into work yesterday for a haircut and so I was trying to carry on a convo with her. I was asking her how old she was, she said she just turned 4. (I love how lil tots say their numbers, "fooooourrr")
I said, "oooh how fun! Do you like being four?"
"Oh I love being a little kid! It's a lot of fun. I like it because I don't have to work.
But when I am 5, I might have to work."
Kiddos say the funniest things. When we were teaching the 5 yr olds in primary, I would write down some of the things they would say. One said the closing prayer and blessed that he could color really good. And that if he messed up and colored outside of the lines, that it would be okay. Ahh!
Some days, I wish I was foooourrr and could just pray about coloring.

I love the things little kids say too. I used to teach the ctr 4's and I had one little kid that prayed that the kids wouldn't hit each other in class and that when he got home the dinner his mom made would be really really good because sometimes it's reeeeeeeeally bad. LOL!
That's just adorable! I love hearing funny things that kids say. The simple life of a kid. It would be nice sometimes. :)

One of my favorites from my Botan days was a 4 yr old (must be the age)! He sat there so cute and said with a sad face, 'my mom lost her job. (long pause) actually she was terminated.' HOW do you respond to that,,hahaha!!
If I were four, I'd pray for more cookies ;).
