I have never been skiing. I've been snowboarding, but that doesn't really count because it was such a terrible experience. Apparently Derek's fam loves skiing. We escaped for a couple days and attempted at the sport.
It was a beautiful day, we got lucky! But, everyone decided to go on the same day, so it was one packed mountain.

So Derek would find jumps (little ones) and decide he wanted to go off them. He would always convince Shae, Shamra, and I that we should follow him. And Shae was always the one to listen. And .... she biffed it big time. It was hilarious. She fell into a deep hole, with muddy water at the bottom. So here she is, right after Derek and I pulled her out. She wasn't too happy.
It was a good trip. I was hesitant at first and didn't want to go. But I enjoyed it! And am now sore.
