This should have been posted a couple weeks ago.
But besides the fact, we have officially moved. The "new" place is a lot older, but it is bigger. So that is a definite plus.
Moving is HARD work!!! Holy cow! And if my Mom, Dad, and Derek's Dad weren't there, then we would probably still be packing and cleaning, seriously. They helped so much! Thanks guys :)
I kept saying and thinking that we were never going to move again. But that is highly sarcastic, because we are not going to live here forever.
I did learn quite a few things about moving though.
- Make sure you pack up BEFORE the "moving day"
- Borrow boxes from your awesome sister (Thanks Jeni!!)
- Have a good packing tape dispenser
- Don't hang up every decoration you have, over every single wall space
- Don't pack/clean with long nails
- Have a plan of attack, an agenda
- Change your mailing address a few days before the actual move
- And enjoy your new place, even though it doesn't feel like "home" right off the bat

So I heard you moved in . . . now when are we going to see you at church? Hope your feeling more settled in. We moved almost 2 mo ago and I'm still far from being completely settled and unpacked. Come visit us if you get really bored!
moving is horrible!!!!! especially if you have lots of stuff...luckily you haven't been married that long, so unless you are a pack rat like me, you don't have tons of stuff!
