Days of Births - Part 2

Last weekend the whole family gathered up at Boulder Resort to celebrate all of the bdays. Preston had a bday party, and let me just say, it will probably be his favorite bday party . . . ever! First of all, Heidi planned out such a cute/fun party. Second, he had so many cousins there. And lastly, his cake was adorable!! If you ever need a cake made, just ask my mom ;)
It's the rocket ship for the Einstein show.

On Sunday we went for a drive up on Saddle Mountain. Derek never had been up there, and it seems like a tradition that we always show the beautiful scenery off. So we took advantage of the time we had and took him up there.

As you may know already, I adore Paige. I want her. I wish my arms could look this cute.

She was staring at herself in the mirror. For quite some time.
Finally it was my birthday!! Yay! I am not a teen anymore!
The day started out with school! (That was my birthday wish, of course ;) ) For lunch my awesome Mom, Dad and Bro (Jared) came up. I loved having them come. Even though it was quick, it was still great.
Later on, I came home to this . . .
Haha, yup, Derek surprised me. It was so cute. I was so shocked.

He made a cute heart out of rose petals.

I had to capture the moment, even though we both are not photogenic.
After the surprise, Derek made plans for us to go to Tri Cities and go out to eat and do some shopping. So when I opened up the doors to the laundry room, I found this...
Ahh cute.
And then when I opened up this dishwasher, I found another one. And then in the silverware drawer, and then in my makeup drawer, and then in my dresser drawer, and then in the cabinet, and then finally in the fridge!! Haha yes I felt like I was on some scavenger hunt. It was cute.
We went to Tri Cities and did some shopping (only got things that were "needs" of course ). ;)
For dinner I chose Outback Steakhouse. I love that place! It was a great satisfying meal. (I am now craving it, just thinking about the yumminess)
After dinner we headed home. I must say, that it was a perfect day. I had so many family and friends wishing me a happy bday.
And Derek made me feel like a princess all day long.
I am so grateful that my mom gave birth to me :)

I'm not so sure Derek should have gone so crazy with your birthday, how will he top that next year?! He did a great job and every time I read where he left another note, it made me smile.

Didn't you know that you can shop for 'wants' on your birthday? Thrown in with a few 'needs' of course.

SO glad you had a good day! Welcome to your 20's.
