6 Months

 Already!?! 6 months?! 

Little Zane is growing up way too fast for this momma. It is actually kind of sad. But it is also very fun to see him learning new things. 

We just had a 6 month check up a few months ago. He weighed 18 lbs 6 oz and still has a large head. He hasn't gained too much since his last appt. He's had a cough for a couple weeks and sounds weezy off and on. The doctor is hoping it goes away in a week or so. I take him back in for a check up next week.

We have started baby food! I started rice cereal when he was 4.5 months old and he enjoyed it. I gave him some sweet potatoes a couple weeks ago and now he just thinks he's ready for real food! When I take a drink, he wants a drink. When I take a bite, he wants a bite. I gave him a little taste of ice cream the other day and he enjoyed it very much. And started crying when I wouldn't give him anymore. Oh great, what did I get myself into. 

He is army crawling everywhere. I sometimes hear him get into books or decorations, so things are starting to move up! He likes to explore.

Zane is a pretty chill baby. He his getting a little better smiling with his grandmas. That is something we have been working on. He loves men. We took him to my Moms work and he would not smile for any of the women, but he would for the men. Silly little man.
