After 1 long year and 1 miscarriage, I am now pregnant. And we are are so thrilled.
I have learned a lot about counting your blessings and patience. It was a rough lesson to learn, but it makes me appreciate life even more! It makes me feel for the women that struggle for years and years. I couldn't even imagine!!
I am about 5 months along, halfway! I had a dr. appt. today and convinced Derek into coming with me so that we could maybe do a quick little ultrasound and find out the gender. But of course, my dr. had to go to the hospital to deliver a baby! And the dr. filling in for her admitted she is terrible at guessing the sex. Oooh great! But she did an ultrasound anyways (which was nice of her) and we just looked at the baby and the heart beat. Everything looked great! But we'll find out the sex next week at the anatomy ultrasound.
So far I haven't been sick.I was really tired at the beginning. And some foods just sound gross because of the smell. Oh and of course heartburn here and there (Zantac works wonders!). Lately I have been feeling the baby move a lot more. It's such a great feeling and reassures me that there is something growing in me!

Congrats again Sara! I remember going through the struggle of trying to get pregnant, it was so hard! After that struggle your get the best gift EVER! A perfect little miracle and it's almost like all of that struggle never happened. You are going to be a great mom! I'm glad you're feeling well.
