O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree . . .

We did it!! Yes we did!! We got our first Christmas tree. And it is REAL!! Hmmm it smells soo good! And yes our apartment is so small that we had to shove it in a corner. Don't laugh.

I wrapped up picture frames to look like gifts. Yeah, might be tacky, but they make this little apartment look more festive.

Had to capture the momentous moment of our 1st xmas tree.
Hope you all have the opportunity to get yourself a good smellin' tree to celebrate this great holiday!

A whopping 2-4!!!

He probably won't appreciate that title too much. But Happy Birthday Derek!!!! Actually it was Saturday, but you know how it goes about blogging . . .
Derek's cousin, Bryce, got married on Friday, so we decided we'd attend that and just spend the weekend in Tri-Town. Best idea ever.
The wedding was great. Cold. But great. Bryce and Karley looked great. I am sorry, but I did not capture any pictures of them. I forgot my camera in the car. Not smart.
Anyways, so after the wedding & luncheon, we started our shopping adventure. If Derek ever wanted something, he would just say, "But it's my birthday!" But that didn't stop me :)
We stayed the night there in town. It was nice not having to worry about heading home by a certain time and just going at an easy pace.
We came home Saturday afternoon and got ready for Bryce and Karley's reception. And than afterwards, we went bowling and had pizza with Derek's parents and siblings.
I need to practice my bowling skills.
